Objectives

Responsibilities

• Clean and freshen pet hair by washing, shampooing, and conditioning it

• Shave, trim, and style pet hair according to the owner’s preferences

• Maintain overall pet hygiene by clipping nails, brushing teeth, and cleaning ears

• Maintain a clean workstation by sanitizing and sweeping before the arrival of every client and at the end of every workday

• Advise owners on at-home care tips and best practices for their pets

Essential Qualification

• Professional certification/ Certificate in Grooming

• Experience in pet grooming

• Experience in customer service

• Experience with animals in a professional capacity

Pet Groomer Responsibilities

• Clean, cut, trim, shampoo, and rinse pets, including bathing and handling dogs, cats & exotic pets

• Dematting and detangling hair as required

• Bathing, conditioning, and drying pets

• Trimming pets’ nails, brushing their teeth, and cleaning their ears

• Anal sac emptying & cleaning

• Grooming and styling pets according to pet owners’ instructions or standard grooming styles

• Accommodating special requests that pet owners may have

• Identifying health issues in pets, such as ear infections, skin conditions, or tooth decay, and informing pet owners of these observations

• Ensuring that all pets are safe during the grooming process

• Keep all grooming tools properly stored, clean and dry, sanitized, and ready for use

• Routine cleaning of work bench tops and areas

• Assist/ Recommending suitable grooming products to pet owners

• Maintaining compliance at all areas of work

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Management

We are seeking new pet grooming assistants to join our Grooming Salon team to support our grooming stylists in providing quality pet grooming services to our existing pets and clients.

You will be responsible for providing high quality customer service and undertaking basic groom tasks, including bathing, drying, nail clipping, ear cleaning, brushing, combing, de-sheds and hygiene clips across a wide variety of breeds.!

Our grooming salon is open Monday – Sunday from 8am to 8pm.

Veterinary Practice Coordinators conduct a variety of administrative functions relevant to the operation of a hospital/ clinic including receiving phone calls, making appointments, accounts receivable and general customer service.

Provide on-site support to the Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of samples/specimen/ tissues for testing  
• Complete testing of blood and tissue samples
• Conduct Serum /plasma Biochemistry analysis and interpretation of results
