About Dr. Gayathri G

“Sometimes, the smallest detail changes everything.”

For Dr. Gayathri, veterinary medicine isn’t about what’s visible, it’s about what lies beneath.

Three years into her journey as a veterinary pathologist in the laboratory and diagnostics department, she works in a space where answers aren’t always obvious but they’re always there… if you know where to look.

“I’ve always been interested in animal health and welfare. But pathology gave me a way to understand disease at its core.”

Not through guesswork. Not through trial. But through evidence. Microscopes. Samples. Patterns.

“The thrill is in identifying what others can’t see, different pathologies under a microscope, or through lab results and knowing that it directly impacts how a patient is treated.”

Because before treatment comes clarity. And in many cases, she’s the one who provides it.

Her advice to pet parents reflects that same belief:

“Don’t ignore mild symptoms.”

Because what seems small—a slight change in appetite, a little lethargy, subtle behavioural shifts—can often be the beginning of something bigger.

“Early diagnosis doesn’t just make treatment easier. It prevents unnecessary suffering.”

While her work may not always involve direct patient interaction, its impact is felt in every correct diagnosis, every effective treatment plan, every recovery that starts with the right answer.

Looking ahead, she’s focused on excelling further as a clinical pathologist—diving deeper into a field where precision isn’t optional, it’s essential.

And the belief that guides her?

“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.”

Because in diagnostics, consistency is everything. Every sample. Every slide. Every result. Done right. Every time.

Dr. Gayathri works out of our Central Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory at our Domlur hospital for precise, reliable diagnostics that form the foundation of effective treatment and better outcomes for your pet.

Had a really positive experience with Cessna Lifeline Veterinary Hospital. The doctors were extremely caring, patient, and knowledgeable. They took the time to properly explain my pet’s condition and treatment plan without rushing. The staff was polite, responsive, and handled pets with genuine compassion.

The clinic is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with good facilities for consultation, diagnostics, grooming, and rehabilitation. What stood out most was the attention and comfort given to pets during treatment — you can tell the team truly loves animals.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for trustworthy veterinary care in Bangalore.

We rushed our 10 yr old male GSD with bloat to Cessna on the night of April 29th as this was the only vet hospital open 24/7 for emergencies in Bangalore. The vets and staff immediately conducted all the necessary tests to determine that it was GDV and performed Gastropexy surgery at 1 am after explaining all possible outcomes for our pet. Professional and polite vet staff. The place has everything for a pet in distress and I highly recommend this place. We were also allowed to see our pet pre and post surgery for a few minutes and that was reassuring. We got regular video and picture updates about our pet's recovery, consultation from Dr Padam the next day via a phone call about our pet's vitals and discharge was also smooth with guidance on post operative care by the on duty Vet. Thank you for saving the life of our pet. We can never forget this.

Our Pepe crossed the rainbow bridge today.

He fought bravely through a sudden and serious illness, and despite every effort, his body had been through too much. We are grateful for the love, care, and compassion shown to him by the doctors and nurses at Cessna who stood by him till the very end.

Our sincere thanks to doctors Parth, Amruth, Malavika, Adarsh, Ramesh, Pawan, Devaraja sir, and all the staff across IPD, Surgery and the rest. Your kindness and care gave our boy a huge fighting chance and we remain indebted.

Run free, sweet boy.
You were loved beyond measure, and you always will be. 🌈
