About Dr. Mahesh Reddy

“For me, it started with a simple idea: care for animals, and support the people who love them.”That clarity shows in how Dr. Mahesh approaches his work.Just a year into his journey in the OT department, he’s already stepping into a space that demands precision, focus, and constant learning: surgery.
Because in surgery, there’s no room for guesswork.Every movement matters. Every decision counts.“I want to master small animal surgery—not just technically, but in judgement and understanding.”It’s not just about skill. It’s about knowing when to act, how to act, and what’s best for the patient in that moment. And that mindset starts even before the operating table.“Preventive care is everything. Don’t wait for symptoms.”Because the best surgeries… are often the ones you never have to perform.Of course, even in a highly focused environment like OT, pets still manage to bring in their own kind of mischief.“One pet pretended to swallow its medication… and then spat it out the moment I wasn’t looking.”Outsmarted. Completely. But then there are cases that remind you of the seriousness of the work.“A splenic tumour rupture with haemabdomen.”Critical. Time-sensitive. High-risk.Moments like that shape how you think, how you respond—and how much responsibility the role truly carries. For Dr. Mahesh, the most rewarding part is what comes after all of it.“Seeing a sick pet walk out wagging or purring.”That transformation—from critical to stable, from pain to relief—that’s what makes it worth it.Looking ahead, he’s focused on refining every aspect of his surgical journey: technical expertise, anatomical depth, and clinical decision-making.Because mastery doesn’t happen overnight. It’s built case by case. And the belief he carries?“Believe you can, and you’re halfway there.”Because in a field like this, confidence isn’t optional. It’s essential.Meet Dr. Mahesh at our Domlur hospital for precise, dedicated surgical care focused on safety, recovery, and long-term well-being.

Had a really positive experience with Cessna Lifeline Veterinary Hospital. The doctors were extremely caring, patient, and knowledgeable. They took the time to properly explain my pet’s condition and treatment plan without rushing. The staff was polite, responsive, and handled pets with genuine compassion.

The clinic is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with good facilities for consultation, diagnostics, grooming, and rehabilitation. What stood out most was the attention and comfort given to pets during treatment — you can tell the team truly loves animals.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for trustworthy veterinary care in Bangalore.

We rushed our 10 yr old male GSD with bloat to Cessna on the night of April 29th as this was the only vet hospital open 24/7 for emergencies in Bangalore. The vets and staff immediately conducted all the necessary tests to determine that it was GDV and performed Gastropexy surgery at 1 am after explaining all possible outcomes for our pet. Professional and polite vet staff. The place has everything for a pet in distress and I highly recommend this place. We were also allowed to see our pet pre and post surgery for a few minutes and that was reassuring. We got regular video and picture updates about our pet's recovery, consultation from Dr Padam the next day via a phone call about our pet's vitals and discharge was also smooth with guidance on post operative care by the on duty Vet. Thank you for saving the life of our pet. We can never forget this.

Our Pepe crossed the rainbow bridge today.

He fought bravely through a sudden and serious illness, and despite every effort, his body had been through too much. We are grateful for the love, care, and compassion shown to him by the doctors and nurses at Cessna who stood by him till the very end.

Our sincere thanks to doctors Parth, Amruth, Malavika, Adarsh, Ramesh, Pawan, Devaraja sir, and all the staff across IPD, Surgery and the rest. Your kindness and care gave our boy a huge fighting chance and we remain indebted.

Run free, sweet boy.
You were loved beyond measure, and you always will be. 🌈
