About Dr. Kabir Singh

“It started with animal rescue.” — And somewhere along the way, it became everything.

Five years into veterinary medicine, Dr. Kabir has carved a niche in diagnostic imaging. The kind of work that happens behind the scenes but changes everything. The X-rays, the scans, the “let’s take a closer look” moments that often hold the real answers.

“I’ve always liked figuring things out. Imaging gives you that—it’s like solving a puzzle, but the stakes are real.”

And while his work is deeply technical, his day-to-day? Pure, unfiltered pet chaos.

“Funniest thing I’ve seen? A cat hissing… while eating treats at the same time. Fully offended, but also fully committed to snacks.”

Some stories, though, hit closer to home.

“My cat Gary. I adopted him, and that experience changed a lot for me.”

At home, it’s basically a mini animal kingdom. Gary, Creamy, Peanut, Sushi, Paprika, Cinnamon… and that’s just the cats. Add six dogs from the extended family into the mix, and you’ve got what can only be described as controlled chaos with fur.

For Dr. Kabir, that constant presence of animals isn’t overwhelming; it’s grounding.

“Working with kittens and puppies: that’s my favourite part. There’s just something about that energy.”

Looking ahead, he’s not just focused on his own growth, he wants to mentor other veterinarians in diagnostic imaging, helping more doctors read, interpret, and act faster and better.

Because sometimes, the right diagnosis changes everything.

And the mindset he carries?

“If you can’t catch your patient… they’re fine.” — James Herriot

Had a really positive experience with Cessna Lifeline Veterinary Hospital. The doctors were extremely caring, patient, and knowledgeable. They took the time to properly explain my pet’s condition and treatment plan without rushing. The staff was polite, responsive, and handled pets with genuine compassion.

The clinic is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with good facilities for consultation, diagnostics, grooming, and rehabilitation. What stood out most was the attention and comfort given to pets during treatment — you can tell the team truly loves animals.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for trustworthy veterinary care in Bangalore.

We rushed our 10 yr old male GSD with bloat to Cessna on the night of April 29th as this was the only vet hospital open 24/7 for emergencies in Bangalore. The vets and staff immediately conducted all the necessary tests to determine that it was GDV and performed Gastropexy surgery at 1 am after explaining all possible outcomes for our pet. Professional and polite vet staff. The place has everything for a pet in distress and I highly recommend this place. We were also allowed to see our pet pre and post surgery for a few minutes and that was reassuring. We got regular video and picture updates about our pet's recovery, consultation from Dr Padam the next day via a phone call about our pet's vitals and discharge was also smooth with guidance on post operative care by the on duty Vet. Thank you for saving the life of our pet. We can never forget this.

Our Pepe crossed the rainbow bridge today.

He fought bravely through a sudden and serious illness, and despite every effort, his body had been through too much. We are grateful for the love, care, and compassion shown to him by the doctors and nurses at Cessna who stood by him till the very end.

Our sincere thanks to doctors Parth, Amruth, Malavika, Adarsh, Ramesh, Pawan, Devaraja sir, and all the staff across IPD, Surgery and the rest. Your kindness and care gave our boy a huge fighting chance and we remain indebted.

Run free, sweet boy.
You were loved beyond measure, and you always will be. 🌈
