About Dr. Durga Ashok
โLosing my pet changed everything.โFor Dr. Durga, becoming a veterinarian wasnโt just about love for animalsโit came from a place of loss, frustration, and a quiet promise to do better.โI grew up in a place where veterinary care was still developing. Many pets didnโt get the right diagnosis at the right time.โ
And then it became personal.โWhen I lost my childhood pet due to an inaccurate diagnosisโฆ that was it. I knew I wanted to change thatโfor other animals, for other families.โThat moment shaped everything that followed. Now, two years into her journey in the Outpatient Department, Dr. Durga approaches every case with one clear intention: get it right, and get it early.Because she knows whatโs at stake.โPrevention and timely intervention can avoid so many complications. Most serious illnesses donโt just appear overnight, they build up.โAnd sometimes, all it takes is noticing something small.Of course, not every case is serious.โA retriever once came in with a complaint of limpingโฆ and the moment he saw treats? Perfectly fine.โBut then there are the cases that remind you why persistence matters.โOne case with severe acute kidney injury, very high creatinine, metabolic acidosis. It was critical.โDays of intensive care, close monitoring, and evidence-based treatment.โAnd the pet stabilised.โThat moment, that shift from uncertainty to recoveryโthatโs what stays.โSeeing a sick patient recover, and the relief on the pet parentโs faceโฆ thatโs my favourite part.โItโs not just about medicine. Itโs about what that recovery means to someone waiting outside. At home, thereโs Tonyโher indie dog, who (in true indie fashion) refuses to cooperate for photos. A personality of his own.Looking ahead, sheโs aiming to deepen her expertise in small animal internal medicine and critical care, moving closer to the kind of impact that first inspired her journey. And the belief she carries forward?โThey may not speak our language, but they understand our care.โMeet Dr. Durga at our Domlur hospital for thoughtful, proactive care focused on early diagnosis and better outcomes for your pet.

Had a really positive experience with Cessna Lifeline Veterinary Hospital. The doctors were extremely caring, patient, and knowledgeable. They took the time to properly explain my petโs condition and treatment plan without rushing. The staff was polite, responsive, and handled pets with genuine compassion.
The clinic is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with good facilities for consultation, diagnostics, grooming, and rehabilitation. What stood out most was the attention and comfort given to pets during treatment โ you can tell the team truly loves animals.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for trustworthy veterinary care in Bangalore.

We rushed our 10 yr old male GSD with bloat to Cessna on the night of April 29th as this was the only vet hospital open 24/7 for emergencies in Bangalore. The vets and staff immediately conducted all the necessary tests to determine that it was GDV and performed Gastropexy surgery at 1 am after explaining all possible outcomes for our pet. Professional and polite vet staff. The place has everything for a pet in distress and I highly recommend this place. We were also allowed to see our pet pre and post surgery for a few minutes and that was reassuring. We got regular video and picture updates about our pet's recovery, consultation from Dr Padam the next day via a phone call about our pet's vitals and discharge was also smooth with guidance on post operative care by the on duty Vet. Thank you for saving the life of our pet. We can never forget this.

Our Pepe crossed the rainbow bridge today.
He fought bravely through a sudden and serious illness, and despite every effort, his body had been through too much. We are grateful for the love, care, and compassion shown to him by the doctors and nurses at Cessna who stood by him till the very end.
Our sincere thanks to doctors Parth, Amruth, Malavika, Adarsh, Ramesh, Pawan, Devaraja sir, and all the staff across IPD, Surgery and the rest. Your kindness and care gave our boy a huge fighting chance and we remain indebted.
Run free, sweet boy.
You were loved beyond measure, and you always will be. 🌈
